Diablo 4 Season 5 release date

Diablo 4 Season 5 went live on August 6 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Season of the Infernal Hordes introduces a new mode, power, questline, and micro-dungeons. There are more ways to earn loot, gold, and more weapons for each class, making Season 5 the perfect time to come back or pick the game for the first time.

As mentioned, Season 5 adds the new Infernal Hordes mode, an activity for both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. Facing waves of demons, players can earn rewards in gold, resources, and loot. The higher the difficulty, the better the chance of earning legendary gear.

On top of the more than 50 new Unique and Legendary items, there are additional seasonal rewards such as a title, clothing, weapon transmogs, and town portal skin. These can be unlocked by completing the Season Journey chapters. There is also a free and premium battle pass for extra rewards.
