Destiny 2: Big Into the Light Leaks with Ghostbusters Co-Op Support

On 14th March, Bungie released the weekly digest for their Destiny 2, launched back in 28th August 2017, and still maintains a strong community despite the years.

In this digest, we get a taste of what’s coming to Destiny 2 in April, with a particular focus on the new content Into the Light and an interesting collaboration.

Destiny 2: What’s New with Into the Light

Into the Light is the new game content for Destiny 2 covering the months of April and May, leading up to the arrival of The Final Shape, the game content shown last year that will bring a breath of fresh air to Destiny 2, also advancing the game’s story in June.

Alongside the new expansion, with the Update 7.3.6, there are also new game contents along with some hotfixes. We’re also talking about a collaboration with the Ghostbusters franchise for the movie Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, coming out on March 22nd. Players will be able to obtain The Ghostbusters Firehouse accessory pack, which includes the Slimer Exotic Ghost shell, Garraka-inspired Exotic Sparrow, and an Ecto-1-themed Exotic ship. Additionally, as a bonus for anyone purchasing the pack through the in-game Eververse, they will be eligible to download a Bungie Rewards Slimer Ghost shell papercraft mask at no extra cost.

When Does Destiny 2 Into the Light Release?

The new game content for Destiny 2 Into the Light will be released on 9 April 2024, alongside Update 7.3.6. For the occasion, Bungie will release 3 livestreams, each focusing on different game content. They will cover not only the incoming content with Into the Light but also further information about The Final Shape, which will arrive on 4 June 2024.

The livestreams will be available on Bungie’s official Twitch channel and will take place on 19th March, 26th March, and finally on 2nd April at 10 AM PT (18:00 GMT+1).
