The thing is Teslagrad 2 is better in everyway. Those only wanting to play one great 2D platformer, can safely jump to the second installment, that said playing both was my preferred way to go. Teslagrad 2 is a step up in every respect to its previous installment, a fantastic platformer with a wonderful set of auxiliary gameplay elements anyone that loves 2D platformers should play this.

Xbox Tavern

Teslagrad 2 is an excellent Metroidvania title with a physics-based twist. Moreover, there are some interesting puzzles and an interesting world to explore. However, it isn’t long enough and this will disappoint some people.

Movies Games and Tech

The first game, recently remastered, is just that little bit more considered, clever and rewarding. Teslagrad 2 ups the cool factor by handing you a breakneck slide, letting you glide about like Sonic, but the result lacks the first game’s finesse. But we’re still in the presence of some fantastic artists and puzzle designers, so you can be reassured that it’s worth clearing a few hours of your afternoon to reap the rewards of ten years of sequel development.
