About this game

Sovereign Syndicate is a Victorian steampunk CRPG but with tarot cards instead of dice developed by Crimson Herring Studios. Play as three characters with branching stories that intertwine, investigate, interact, and take action to leave your mark on the world and its inhabitants. There are no random stats so it’s all about skills, level them up, and put your fate in the tarot cards. How will you solve the problems that you come across Combat, persuasion, magic, explosives? The choice is yours.

• NPCs will naturally react to your gender, race, appearance, and choice of dialogue, so you’d better look and act the part if you want the “right” results. But luck can also be a factor its all in the cards with the tarot card system.
• Every time you use a skill the more you will improve it, but at the same time if you keep ignoring certain skills it will cause them to stagnate. Don’t be afraid to try the unconventional, drown yourself in gin, put it all in black, and smoke that opium, you only live once after all.
• Immerse yourself in steampunk fantasy-inspired Victorian London filled with interesting characters and locations. Explore the back alleys or relax and enjoy the simple pleasures.
• Three characters each with their own stories to tell:
  • Atticus Daley – An orphaned minotaur magician addicted to alcohol trying to find a sense of belonging and his next fix.
  • Clara Reed – A corsair with a shady past and a cunning woman to boot looking for vengeance, and the courtesan Killer.
  • Otto – A trusty automaton and a companion of engineer Theodore Redgrave, striving to be more than the sum of his parts.
