Sekiro remains my favourite From Software game, despite the well-deserved success of Elden Ring. What really won me over was its challenging gameplay. Yes, it gives you less freedom to play the way you want compared to Souls or ER, but the parries, stances and some of the bosses really won me over. The story is compelling and the NG+ has a real appeal. Progression is based more on gameplay than character progression.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an intense experience from start to finish. The combat is challenging but rewarding, and the world is beautifully crafted. It's definitely a must-play for any action-adventure fan!
If the word "masterpiece" isn't enough to convince you that Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a great game, then I don't know what is! Gorgeous world, extremely challenging (but rewarding) combat and unforgettable story - this is what you get while playing this game. If you're into the genre, you should absolutely try it.
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a soulslike developed by FromSoftware. Despite being made by the same company responsible for the Dark Souls franchise, Sekiro is pretty different, with a more acrobatic gameplay and allowing more freedom of movement while requiring quick reflexes and well-timed parries. If you enjoy a good challenge and incredible boss fights this is a good one for you.
