About this game

Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is the latest chapter for the sci-fi MMORPG PSO2 which provides a new way to experience the world of Phantasy Star developed by SEGA. This new adventure takes place 1000 years after the events of the first game on a vast open-world on the planet Halpha, up to 32 players can join in at the same time and vastly improved graphics over its predecessor. and most important of all everything is still free to play.

• If you played PSO2 before you can import your character in New Genesis since the game is on the same client but their level, class, certain items will be reset entirely.
• From PSOS2 12 original classes New Genesis will be scaling back by only having 6 classes at the start namely Hunter, Ranger, Force, Fighter, Gunner, and Techter class, the remaining classes will be added back overtime in regular future updates.
• With the more open-world design, New Genesis will provide players with new movement options to get around the map faster like the Photon Dash and Photon Glide. The options that were present in PSO2 meanwhile will be getting overhauled making them feel more fluid-like wall jumping.
• Graphical Changes: New Genesis brings with it a new modern graphics engine making a more detailed game world, better character models, and customization options almost everything about the game’s graphics has been reworked and improved.
