Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot of the franchise with a universe created by the Fire God Liu Kang. This new entry brings a brand new story, new game modes and a revamped fighting system with original fatalities. MK 1 introduces also Kameo fighters which let's you choose a tag team partner to assist you in battle and perform fatalities together.
I can't contain my excitement for Mortal Kombat 1, the latest addition to the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise! With NetherRealm Studios at the helm, I know we're in for a treat. The concept of a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe, shaped by the Fire God Liu Kang, sounds absolutely mind-blowing. I can't wait to see how the beloved characters are reimagined in ways we've never seen before. And let's talk about the new fighting system – I'm eager to discover the fresh mechanics and strategies it brings to the table. Of course, we can't forget about the bone-crushing finishing moves that have become a trademark of the series. I can already feel the adrenaline pumping just thinking about the epic battles and jaw-dropping fatalities. Knowing that all versions of the game are developed on NetherRealm Studios' technology, with their oversight, gives me even more confidence in the quality and polish we can expect. And as a PlayStation 5 owner, I'm thrilled to hear that the team is specifically crafting a version for the next-gen consoles. Mortal Kombat 1 is shaping up to be an absolute knockout, and I'm counting down the days until I can step into the arena and unleash my inner fighter!
What awaits us is a reboot for the 12th opus in the Mortal Kombat saga, to be called Mortal Kombat 1. The list of fighters is as follows (not exhaustive): Raiden, Stryker, Goro, Sonya, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kitana, Raiden, Kung Lao, Mileena, Johnny Cage, Jax Briggs, Liu Kang, Kano, Kenshi and Shang Tsung. Johnny Cage will be dubbed and skinned by Jean-Claude Vandamme, no less! New features include an innovative open-ended story mode, and more colorful, jovial arenas with fireworks and festive environments. "Kombatants" will no longer have the same affinities or roles for some, and the story is getting a real facelift, a big reboot. Finally, there's a new cameo system: you choose a secondary fighter who stays in the background during the fight, and you can call up some of their special moves that merge with your own, to create never-before-seen super combos. It's all looking pretty good for this reboot.
