Of course, we can't forget about the bone-crushing finishing moves that have become a trademark of the series. I can already feel the adrenaline pumping just thinking about the epic battles and jaw-dropping fatalities. What awaits us is a reboot for the 12th opus in the Mortal Kombat saga, to be called Mortal Kombat 1. The list of fighters is as follows (not exhaustive): Raiden, Stryker, Goro, Sonya, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kitana, Raiden, Kung Lao, Mileena, Johnny Cage, Jax Briggs, Liu Kang, Kano, Kenshi and Shang Tsung. Johnny Cage will be dubbed and skinned by Jean-Claude Vandamme, no less! New features include an innovative open-ended story mode, and more colorful, jovial arenas with fireworks and festive environments. "Kombatants" will no longer have the same affinities or roles for some, and the story is getting a real facelift, a big reboot. Finally, there's a new cameo system: you choose a secondary fighter who stays in the background during the fight, and you can call up some of their special moves that merge with your own, to create never-before-seen super combos. It's all looking pretty good for this reboot.
