Minit is fantastic at multitasking which genre is wants to be. Sometimes it feels like an energetic top-down adventure, before it morphs to take on the thrill of speedrunning. It even delves into the mystery of puzzle games and point-and-clicks, too. Juggling concepts usually spells doom for indie titles, but Minit pulls it off with finesse.

This is a refreshingly unique take on the old school swords and sorcery genre. The time trial aspect may turn some players off, but it’s a challenge that is actually a joy to play.
