Injustice 2 is a fighting game by the same studios that develop the Mortal Kombat franchise. There is a story mode, combat is fun and it offers offline and online PvP modes. The game has a good amount of DC characters in the base game but others can only be unlocked through DLCs. Cosmetics can be obtained in lootboxes but gear that affects your strength is only unlocked by playing.
Injustice 2 the fighting series by NetherRealm Studios based on the DC Comics has definite a few years on his shoulder, as the title released back in 2017. This also considering that the online community has definitely died out, albeit it's still possible to match with a few active players, although the level disparity will make things harder for new players. That said it's a solid title, especially for fans of DC characters and maybe you can rope a friend to play against!
