Gangs of Sherwood is a steampunk-themed multiplayer co-op action game loosely based on the legend of Robin Hood developed by Appeal Studios. Through the powers of the philosopher stone, the armies of the sheriff of Nottingham have become more powerful than ever, crushing the people of England in his iron boot. Lead the rebellion in solo or 4-player co-operative multiplayer, become one of the Merry Men, work together, and free the people from this futuristic dystopia.

Gangs of Sherwood is an action-RPG that reinvents the tale of Robin Hood and supports coop for up to 4 players. Play as one of four unique heroes with customizable abilities and equipment across different maps and missions. Defeat formidable enemies and pull off satisfying combos with other members of the team. By completing missions, you’ll earn reputation and money which can be used to unlock and buy new equipment and upgrades.
A dystopian universe that takes us to England, where Robin Hood is a very special kind of vigilante. You can play as more than one character, preferably cooperatively, as there’s a lot of teamwork involved, including combos! Depending on your style of play, combat (the heart of the gameplay) can be hand-to-hand or with firearms. But magic is also on the menu! As Robin Hood goes, the story will be important, and so will the moral.
