Dead Island 2 presented at E3 in 2014 took well over 8 years to finally arrive. Published by Deep Silver and developed by Dambuster Studios, the game takes place 10 years after the event of Dead Island 1, and now we'll explore the sunny city of Los Angeles, now overtaken by undeads and now the whole California under quarantine. The game offers a more streamlined experience as well as linear gameplay and no open world approach anymore. With a recent DLC but not exactly a great game.
After years of waiting, Dead Island 2 is finally out! I still remember the teaser I saw in 2014 when the game was announced, and I couldn't wait to check it out. And finally, I can say that the developers have nailed it. They've worked hard to create a world where it's fun to explore beautiful environments. Not only does the game allow you to crush zombies and complete missions, but it also offers challenges and secrets to discover. I think Dead Island 2 will please those who love this genre.
Dead island 2 is back, after almost 10 years of waiting. A Los Angeles paradise populated by deranged zombies awaits you. The coconut palms will be splattered with blood, as the dismemberment and destruction of bodies is one of the game's highlights: it's beautiful, realistic, and the soundtrack too! Technically accomplished, the game also offers an interesting RPG aspect, and satisfying combat.
Dead Island 2 is a first person action game with some gun play involved but high emphasis on melee weapons and their modifications. It's a linear zombie game with some areas to explore in order to find weapons, materials and blueprints. Enemies have some variety, from slower zombies to faster ones and even some special types and bosses. It's a fun game but nothing very memorable in my personal opinion.
