The scenes you experience while progressing the story are top notch and were a perfect fit for a VR title. At one point, you’re in a morgue and have to use one of our gadgets to scan bodies for shrapnel from an explosion at the Penguin’s hideout. These mechanics also work extremely well with the move controllers, which to be honest, is the best way to experience Arkham VR.
The only thing wrong with Batman Arkham VR is that we want more. The story is just too short for our liking, but maybe we can NEVER get enough Batman. Thankfully there’s lots of extra content to explore after the story is over…It’s a fantastic slice of Batman life, with unexpected twists and turns that keep you on your toes, and clever uses of the Move Controllers and Detective Mode.
This is the best use of PlayStation VR that I’ve seen currently available. The other, Star Trek: Bridge Crew, won’t be available for a bit. Their common denominator is an easy one – who wouldn’t want to be an actual part of a lifelong love? Batman: Arkham VR is a must-have for any Bat-fan with a PS VR system.
