Developer ThinkingStars and publisher Lightning Games have revealed ANNO Mutationem’s release date in the trailer above. The game will be available on PC, PS5, and PS4 on March 17, 2022.

The game has had release date changes in the past, and if you’re one of those waiting for it to be released, you’ll surely be relieved the wait won’t be too long now. The game originally had a planned release back in December 2020, however, ThinkingStars needed more time to work on the game and decided to move its release in late 2021.

As you can see, the late 2021 release did not push through, but now we’re just a few weeks away until its final, final release date approaches.

ANNO Mutationem presents a combination of 2D and 3D visuals where its intense combat and platforming take place in 2D, while exploring the game’s world in 3D.

It has a combo-driven combat system, and Ann will slash, shoot, throw grenades at hordes of enemies and powerful bosses. She can defeat them by using weapons such as a double blade, rocket launchers, pistols, or even using her strong fists. This is one kick ass female protagonist you’ll play as.

Ann’s weapons can be modified using chips, and making sure she’s at her strongest will ensure that enemies will be defeated. In addition to weapons, you can also equip her with gear, and you’ll also have to make sure that her skills and stats are upgraded.
