How to participate to the charity event and support GamesAid for free?
It has never been easier to donate to a good cause, because the AllKeyShop Charity Event does not cost you anything. You contribute by inviting up to three friends who sign up through your link. For each invitation, we donate €0.50, meaning up to €1.50 per person. Every invited user can then invite more friends, and together we aim to reach our donation goal of €2,500 by the end of April. This way, everyone can become a hero and do something good without spending their own money. Additionally, we will donate €500 at launch, bringing the total goal to €3,000 for GamesAid. 100% of the funds go to GamesAid.
Who is GamesAid?
GamesAid is a UK based charity closely connected to the gaming industry. The organization distributes the collected funds to small and medium sized children’s charities across the United Kingdom. Their mission is to give children who have been severely affected by illness or accidents a better future. GamesAid currently supports several programs, which we will briefly introduce below.
AFK (Action For Kids) helps children with disabilities and neurodiverse needs by providing specialized mobility equipment such as wheelchairs or therapy devices. These are often not covered by healthcare systems, even though they are essential for the children’s development and independence. Without these tools, everyday life can be extremely limited, and many children are unable to leave their homes. But children want to explore their surroundings, go on adventures, and actively participate in life.
Autistica is a leading UK autism research organization. Its goal is to improve the quality of life for autistic people through research, policy work, and practical support. In particular, Autistica sees great potential in gaming, as games play an important role in the daily lives of many people on the spectrum.
Rays of Sunshine grants wishes to children who are seriously or terminally ill. It is not just about creating a single moment of happiness, but about restoring hope and joy. One example is 12 year old Kearyn, who received a donated iPad and can continue playing and managing daily life despite losing his eyesight.
Solving Kids’ Cancer UK focuses on fighting neuroblastoma, a rare and highly aggressive cancer that affects children. The organization funds research, supports affected families, and works to improve treatment options in order to increase survival rates over time.
Over the past 15 years, GamesAid has raised more than £5.5 million in donations and supported numerous projects. If you want to contribute even more after sending your invitations, you can also support GamesAid directly. This ensures your contribution reaches those who need it most.
