Xbox Announced Avowed New Release Date for February 2025

Avowed is now officially delayed with Xbox announcing a new release date for 2025 together with release dates of six other much-awaited titles.

Avowed New Release Date

One of yesterday’s biggest news was Tom Warren’s statement on Avowed launch delay. And in less than 24 hours from that, Xbox officially moved Avowed release date to February 18, 2025.

While everyone was excited to see the upcoming RPG come to our screens, Xbox and Obsidian Entertainment decided to give the game breathing room from the jam-packed big video game releases for the rest of the year.

It was stated that the game looked great for this year’s launch but to give ample time for players to truly enjoy upcoming releases including this game, Avowed took a step back. If there’s any consolation though, at least a clear release date was given. Also, with many holidays coming up, it’ll be February before you know it!


Xbox

As per Xbox statement, six first party Xbox games have scheduled release dates this year. WoW The War Within is still set to release this month, then two for September, another 2 for October, and Flight Simulator 2024 for November.

There are also still three much-awaited games slated for 2024 but with no concrete release dates. With Avowed already moved, there’s a high chance that most, if not all, will also be delayed for next year.
