During the recent VF Direct broadcast, Sega announced the release of VF5 Ultimate Showdown version 2 update and all the latest news on Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O including open beta dates, release date, and brand new trailer to go with it.

The highly anticipated Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Open Beta is here! Starting Friday, December 13, 2024, and running until Tuesday, December 16, 2024, this limited-time beta offers fans the chance to play the game for free before its official release on PC, January 27, 2025.

During this open beta, you’ll experience the latest updates, test out dynamic gameplay mechanics, and provide valuable feedback to help the developers refine the game before its debut. You can request access to the beta now on Steam.


Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Open Beta

VF5 REVO also released its preorder bonuses and an additional edition. So as it stands now, there is the Standard Edition and the 30th Anniversary Edition available for purchase. Both are 20% off on Steam now until January 26.

The pre-order bonus is an exclusive set of character customization items featuring SEGA’s legendary consoles: SEGA GENESIS, SEGA Saturn, and SEGA Dreamcast. These will be available in the customization menu on launch. This set, although called a pre-order bonus, extends until February 3, which is past release date. But don’t wait too long to consider getting these as it won’t be available for purchase after this period.
