Dead by Daylight is a survival and horror game, but is best known as a survival horror game. It was developed by the studio Bohemia Interactive. What makes this game stand out is that it is a multiplayer game where you and 3 of your friends would have to survive because they will be tracked down by a killer you know well: You.
And yes, Dead by Daylight puts you in the shoes of the killer or the prey. 3 players are being chased by a killer whose mission is to catch them and eliminate them.

The one who comes closest to Dead by Daylight in this field is the game Evolve, where you play as the hunted beast, sometimes the hunters. Then you will be able to find your happiness by playing games like The Evil Within, Alien Isolation, Outlast 2, or the highly anticipated Resident Evil 7, but these games are not played in multiplayer so there are no real links with Dead by Daylight.
