The Cub is a 2D platformer set in a post-apocalyptic world set after the events of Golf Club: Wasteland. So if you’ve enjoyed the first game, you’ll return to the same setting and you’ll finally know the fate of the golfer and the child.
You play as the young mutant child who is immune to the toxic environment and thrives in the ruins. As the Martians return for exploration, they will see you as a prize and launch a relentless pursuit, turning the game into a thrilling escape and survival story.
You must navigate through ruined cities and avoid capture. Solve puzzles and traverse obstacles using your agility and understanding of the mutated ruins.
The game explores themes of environmental destruction, social inequality, and the resilience of life.
The Cub Release Details
The Cub was released on January 19, 2024 for PC via Steam and GOG, Playstation 4. Playstation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
The game’s Xbox version was initially announced but is now “postponed until further notice” as the team needed to shift resources.
