Another Overwatch Free Weekend is coming, folks! We absolutely LOVE free stuff, so don’t miss this chance to play Overwatch for free! The Free Weekend will start on 26 May 2017 at 11 a.m. PT, and will end 29 May 2017 at 11:59 p.m. PT. This event is part of the game’s first anniversary celebration, with events and perks happening starting Tuesday, 23 May.

To participate in the Overwatch Free Weekend, you simply need to login to your Battle.Net account if you’re playing on PC. It’s also available to players on PlayStation 4 with a PlayStation Plus membership, as well as on Xbox One with an Xbox Live Gold membership.
The Free Weekend gives players access to all 24 heroes and 14 maps which are available on a variety of game modes including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade. Players can also earn loot boxes, level up, and even unlock customization options.
Should you wish to buy the game after the Overwatch Free Weekend, all progress are saved and can be carried over to the full game. Awesome!
Aside from this, Overwatch will be celebrating their anniversary with the release of the Overwatch Game of the Year Edition on 23 May 2017 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. It will replace the Origins Edition. The GOTY Edition includes the following bonuses:
- 10 Loot Boxes
- Vintage Blackwatch Reyes, Strike-Commander Morrison, Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Phara, and Slipstream Tracer skins.
- Tracer for Heroes of the Storm
- Baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft
