Lego DC Super Villains Officially Announced
We were all but expecting this, thanks largely to the hefty Walmart Canada leak. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have officially unveiled Lego DC Super Villains, topping off the announcement with a reveal trailer.
Along with the trailer, we’ve learned more about the game’s story. In a wacky twist of fate, the Justice League has vanished and the Justice Syndicate has arrived from a parallel universe to take over. The new team soon prove to be not-so-heroic so the Legion of Doom team up to debunk the phoney heroes.
The game lets you create your very own super villain which you can customize by unlocking new abilities and gear. You’ll then team up with some of the most iconic villains from the DC Universe. Since it’s a Lego game, it also supports 2-player local co-op.
Aside from the base game, a deluxe edition has also been announced. This bundles in the Season Pass plus early access to the TV Series DLC Character Pack. The physical deluxe edition will also include a Lex Lutor Superman minifigure, while those who get the digital deluxe edition get the Justice League Dark DLC Character Pack.
Lego DC Super Villains launches on 16 October for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
