How Big is the GB for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Square Enix has revealed the download size for the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PS5, and it’s a whopping 150 GB. And yes, it really is two discs.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, and is the second in a planned trilogy remaster of the incredibly popular FF7, first released in 1997. Although, the download size may put some people off, remember that this version will feature almost 100 hours of content that comes in the form of quests, mini-games, exploration, and much more.

I should also point out that although Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will come on two Blu-Ray discs, unlike the original 1997 game, you will not need to swap discs when you’re playing on PS5, thanks to the console’s architecture.

Also, let’s remember that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade download size is nearly 100 GB. That may be smaller, but it shows how much content is packed into Rebirth.

When Is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

If the download size of 150 GB has not scared you away, and it really shouldn’t from one of the greatest and memorable RPG’s ever made, you can buy and play Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth when it launches on PlayStation 5 on February 29. Those who pre-order it can pre-load it from February 27.
