EA accidentally sold off FUT Hero packs in FIFA 23 for the low cost of 25,000 FUT Coins, which saw FUT Heroes flood the FIFA 23 marketplace.

FUT Heroes are often sold for hundreds of dollars on third-party marketplaces, so when EA included them in a tradeable pack for 25,000 FIFA Coins, it resulted in frantic selling within the game.

   

The massive spike in FUT Hero items on the FIFA 23 transfer market saw prices plummet as EA accidentally crashed the price of FUT Hero items.

The mistake was rectified by EA just 30 minutes later, but by that time, it was too late, and for those that managed to get their hands on a FUT Hero, a bargain was made.
