After a Gamescom heavily dominated by Microsoft, now we will get a glimpse of what the Asian market has in store for the rest of 2024, as well as the games coming in 2025. Yes, the long-awaited Tokyo Game Show is just around the corner, with the annual gaming convention, as always, being held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. CESA and Nikkei Business Publications have finally released the dates and program of the event, which will run from 26 September to 29 September.

  • 28 September: Sense of Wonder Night, Official Stage Program, and GungHo Online Entertainment
  • 29 September: Japan Game Awards 2024: Future Games Division
  • Closing Ceremony: 29 September at 5:30 pm JST (10:30 am CEST / 4:30 am EDT)

The event kicks off with an exciting Keynote right after the Opening Ceremony, with the 30th Anniversary of PlayStation being the highlight, thus we can definitely expect some related announcements.
