Stellar Blade PC is now available worldwide as region restrictions are lifted, giving players across the globe access at last.

Stellar Blade’s PC release was one of the most anticipated drops of the year but for many fans around the world, excitement quickly turned into frustration. The game was inexplicably region locked in over 130 countries, blocking access for a massive portion of the global player base.

The restriction sparked immediate backlash with many pointing fingers at the PSN supported regions, assuming that it somehow influenced the game’s Steam availability. But this didn’t add up after all, the PC version doesn’t require PSN at all.

Developer Shift Up later confirmed this, and after a flood of reports and community concern, the team stepped in and began active discussions with Steam to fix the situation.

 

Stellar Blade Region Lock Lifted From Steam

Good news, PC gamers! Stellar Blade PC is finally available in more countries. A recent update to the game’s Steam page reveals that many previously restricted countries have now been granted access, marking a major win for frustrated fans.

Yes, a few regions still remain locked for now, and no official reason has been provided for either the initial restriction or the gradual lift. But at this point, that doesn’t matter. The important thing is that Stellar Blade is now available across the vast majority of the world and it’s ready to make a proper launch on PC.
