Stormind Games concludes its survival horror trilogy this fall. Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy transports players back to a terrifying narrative set in Sicily. Susan searches for her missing daughter inside an isolated estate near Mount Etna.

The story takes place 13 months after the disappearance of six girls in the region. Susan receives a mysterious audio recording that reignites hope of finding her daughter alive. The search quickly escalates into a brutal struggle for survival against supernatural phenomena.

Stormind Games will launch Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy on October 27, 2026. The developer confirmed the game will release simultaneously across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2. PC players can access the title via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

The October release window arrives just in time for the Halloween season. The launch timing aligns perfectly with the dark themes surrounding the Cristo Morente monastery. Susan must uncover the forgotten story of the Sicilian convent where the myth of the Red Nun began.

Stormind Games expands the traditional hide-and-seek formula of the franchise. Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy introduces limited melee weapons to the core gameplay loop. Susan can actively fight back against human Stalkers when avoiding a confrontation becomes impossible.

The protagonist also gains access to distinct hypnosis abilities. Susan’s supernatural powers include retrocognition, mirror-related skills, and moth manipulation. Players utilize these specific mechanics to alter the environment and reveal hidden pathways through the villa.

Founder’s Access Data and Star-Studded Cast

Early player data indicates a strong reception for the new mechanics. Stormind Games published the Founder’s Access feedback on Steam, reporting that 90.5 percent of participants rated the early experience as positive or very positive. Furthermore, 89.4 percent of testers stated they did not want to stop playing once the preview ended.

A high-profile voice cast anchors the psychological tension within the game. Cissy Jones and Maggie Robertson provide the vocal performances for the lead characters. Legendary composer Akira Yamaoka returns to the genre to compose the game’s unsettling soundtrack.
