What is Ubisoft Connect?
Ubisoft Connect has officially replaced Uplay as of 29 October 2020. Ubisoft Connect is a one-stop shop for players as it unifies all Ubisoft services into one: rewards/loyalty program, game activation, and social networking, among others . This service is available free for players on PC, mobile, and on the cloud.
How can current Uplay users switch to Ubisoft Connect?
If you are a Uplay user, you don’t have to worry about anything else as you will automatically be able to use Ubisoft Connect. Just make sure your Uplay client is not set to “Offline Mode” so the system will automatically update it to Ubisoft Connect.
All games you currently have installed in your system won’t be affected and you won’t need to reinstall them.
How to activate a game on Ubisoft Connect
Follow these easy steps to activate a game on Ubisoft Connect:
1: First, you need to download the Ubisoft Connect client.
2: Launch the client and login with your Ubisoft account.
3: Click the “Menu” button found at the upper left-hand corner of the screen and select “Activate a key.”
4: Enter your key as instructed. Click “Activate” and you’re done!
Alternatively, you may also click “GAMES” from the top menu and click “Activate a key.”
Why is my Ubisoft Connect code not working?
You followed the step by step tutorial to activate your product key, but it’s not working ?
Maybe you are facing an issue while entering your code.
The format of the key should be either a 16 or 19 digit key in upper case and separated by dashes as below:
XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
Make sure you didn’t forget any digit.
Another thing to check, make sure you differentiate: 0 (zero) and O, Q and D (letter), 1 and capital letter i, B and 8, G and 6, etc.

That’s the way when you have a PC to run the Ubisoft Connect Client. How can you do it when you have a mac? I want to play on Geforce Now with my Nvidia Shield TV Pro. Ok can understand there is no Mac Client but why no method to do it from a web client?!?
