As this month’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions make their way into players’ libraries, Sony has also refreshed the “Last Chance to Play” section with the next batch of games preparing to leave the service. The Japanese PlayStation Store has now updated its list, offering an early look at the titles expected to exit the catalog on August 18.
Games Leaving PlayStation Plus August 2026
The latest update to the Japanese PlayStation Store’s “Last Chance to Play” section confirms six games are currently scheduled to leave PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on August 18. As has been the case in previous months, the Japanese storefront is updated earlier and is usually spot on when it comes to the US/European lineup.
Among the titles leaving are Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Onee Chanbara Origin, and Space Crew: Legendary Edition, all of which originally appeared on last month’s departure list before receiving a short extension.
Röki and Bomber Crew were also part of that delayed lineup, though they do not appear in Japan’s Last Chance to Play section. However, their departure is still set in stone as their Playstation Store listings still confirm the August 18 departure notice. Since we already had a headstart on these five games, it may be worth squeezing in one more with Unicorn Overload. It’s genuinely a fun game especially for fans of SRPG.
As always, Sony has yet to confirm the complete departure list for every region so we’ll update this list should there be any changes.
