Digimon Story Time Stranger DLC Featuring Parallelmon is Launching on Dec 8th

Digimon Story: Time Stranger’s first post-launch DLC was announced last month and while no release date was revealed then, Bandai Namco has just come out to confirm exactly that. Titled Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension, it will be released on December 8th.
Digimon Story Time Stranger DLC Release Date and Details
Digimon Story: Time Stranger just launched on October 3rd and here we are, already looking at its first post-launch DLC arriving soon. Bandai Namco announced that Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension will be available on December 8th for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at 3PM PST.
This DLC is part of the Season Pass which is included in both Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. For those on Standard Edition, the pass can be purchased separately.
Included in the release are new Digivolution routes for Mega Digimion including BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, Omnimon Zwart Defeat, and Omnimon Alter-B. The release date trailer also teased of a new storyline that “weaves together encounters across time and space.”
Apart from of course the release date, what longtime fans got really excited about is Parallelmon. So the Alternate Dimension DLC takes you into the Akashic Backdoor which is a strange space that exists outside normal reality. This place was created by this powerful Digimon who has pulled your allies into this pocket universe and trapped them there. Your job is to explore this weird, shifting dimension, rescue your team, and confront Parallelmon at its center.
See, Parallelmon is an old-school Digimon villain from the Digimon Adventure V-Tamer manga. It’s known for warping space, fusing with others, and creating alternate realities. Though it never appeared in the anime or games before, longtime fans have wanted it to return for years and on the screen. Finally, this DLC is exactly doing that, bringing Parallelmon back as a major threat.
