Control Resonant – Eight Voice Languages Confirmed
Control Resonant, the highly anticipated successor to Control, is set to launch later this year. Developed by Remedy Entertainment, the title is slated for release on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. According to the latest intel, Control Resonant offers extensive localization support. A total of eight languages are confirmed for full audio dubbing. This means characters will actually speak these languages, moving beyond simple text overlays. While the original game featured four dubbed languages, Resonant is doubling that count. Control Resonant is a third-person Action-RPG where you step into the boots of Dylan Faden. You’ll wield supernatural abilities essential for both environmental puzzles and high-stakes combat. The gameplay leans heavily into aggressive close-quarters encounters, allowing you to telekinetically hurl objects at foes. You’ll also wield “Aberrant,” a new shapeshifting weapon that adapts to various combat scenarios. Expect fast-paced, visceral gameplay throughout.
While not a traditional open world, Resonant features massive, interconnected hubs. You’ll explore a warped version of Manhattan packed with side quests, hidden events, and lore-heavy secrets. Your paranormal toolkit lets you manipulate gravity and reality, enabling movement mechanics like wall-running and perspective shifts. On top of that, new RPG progression systems and talent trees allow for deep build optimization, offering far more player agency than the first game.
