ARC Raiders will officially launch on October 30th for PC, Playstation, and Xbox. While it’s no longer going to be a free to play game, Embark Studios is giving us another chance to experience the game at no cost with the recently announced Server Slam happening on October 17-19, 2025.

 

ARC Raiders Server Slam Announced

Embark Studios has revealed that it will host another open beta test for ARC Raiders. This time, the focus is a large-scale stress test called the Server Slam. Running for three days, it’s the final opportunity to jump into the game before launch—and the last time you can play it for free.

Unlike the earlier beta, which primarily tested gameplay features, the Server Slam is designed to push and stabilize servers ahead of release. To achieve this, players across PC (Steam and Epic Games), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S are all invited to “slam” the servers and help ensure a smooth launch.

   

The test will take place in Dam Battlegrounds and will feature elements of progressions, crafting, and some quests. Since this is still a test and not a demo (even so), progress will not carry over to the full game.

But, participants will receive a Server Slam exclusive backpack as a reward, delivered via email once the game is purchased. Note that while an email address isn’t required to join the test, it will be needed to claim rewards.

Alongside the Server Slam announcement, Embark Studios also opened the game’s preorder offering a Standard and Deluxe Edition. Get either and you’ll receive the Lucky Duck Bundle which includes the Hatchling Backpack and Golden Rubber Duck Backpack Charm.
