Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has set a new record on Steam for the 40K series. Although it only officially released on September 9, it saw an all-time peak of 225,690 concurrent players on Steam.

That’s nearly 120,000 more players than Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, released in 2022, and almost 60,000 more than Total War: Warhammer 3, also released in 2022. In other words, Space Marine 2 is a big hit with gamers and fans, currently topping the Steam sales charts this week.
