DOOM: The Dark Ages now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S

DOOM: The Dark Ages (TDA) is the highly anticipated third new chapter in the modern DOOM series. The legendary FPS created by Id Software that delivers a brutal experience fighting hordes of hellish enemies. Considered the father of modern FPS, the series returned under a fresh new guise with the 2016 reboot, receiving massive success and praise.

With TDA offering a new take on the series, set in a techno-medieval world. The adventure takes place before the events of Doom 4 (2016) and Eternal. Today marks the official launch of DOOM: The Dark Ages from Id Software. The new chapter in the renowned and beloved Doom shooting series. The game was already available in Early Access since May 12, 2025 and is now available to all. Available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC from May 15, 2025.

The launch of Doom was accompanied by the Official Trailer showing the game in action. Featuring new uniquely designed weapons and the all-new Shield Saw. And a Doom Slayer ready to annihilate every demon in the most brutal way possible.

Doom TDA brings a totally new approach to the Doom series. With a new setting that blends futuristic architecture from the series with a more medieval style. The change is felt not just in the level design but also in the gameplay, offering:
