CULTIC is a retro-style first-person shooter developed by Jasozz Games and published by 3D Realms. A game developed by the passionate Jason Smith, delivering a brutal FPS experience that pays homage to the great classics, especially the famous Blood by Monolith Productions. The first chapter was released on Friday, October 13, 2022.
A shooter that’s as fast-paced as it is strategic, where you’ll face hordes of cultists armed to the teeth. Chapter Two was initially announced for a 2023 release, but was postponed to 2025 and preceded by an interlude chapter. CULTIC Chapter Two: Release Date Revealed
After a long wait of over 3 years, Cultic fans can finally get their hands on Chapter Two. The second chapter of the brutal indie retro FPS by Jasozz Games, published by the legendary 3D Realms. This highly anticipated second chapter will debut as a DLC on September 18, 2025.
The reveal was accompanied by the Official Trailer, giving us a glimpse of the new features. You’ll step back into the shoes of the Outsider, as a One-Man Army against the forces of the Cult that has taken over New Grandewel. Expect new maps, weapons, and enemies.
CULTIC: What’s New in Chapter Two and Update 2.0
The long-awaited Chapter Two brings a ton of new content, offering a new, brutally action-packed adventure for the detective. Risen for a second time, he finds New Grandewel devastated once again. The new features include:
- Campaign: Featuring 12 new maps that are even bigger and more detailed. Full of secrets to uncover, but also packed with fierce new enemies and Bosses. All with improved gameplay.
- Weapons and Combat: The Outsider’s arsenal is back, including the revolver and the SAGS from the Interlude. Plus, new temporary weapons like mountable machine guns and bazookas. A revamped Dodge , including a Tackle move against enemies with Shields. And even more versatile Shields.
- Survival Maps: There are also 3 new Survival maps and the arenas from the first chapter have been revamped. A new challenge to climb the Leaderboard awaits.
And don’t forget Update 2.0, which brings many fixes and balancing tweaks to Chapter One, as well as many of the improvements from the new Chapter, such as lighting, loading times, and much more to discover.
