Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is a dark fantasy souls-like game inspired by the legend of three kingdoms developed by Team Ninja of KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD. Known for their work on the NIOH franchise, step into the shoes of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a demon-infested three kingdoms. Fight off fantasy creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay that is based on Chinese martial arts, this is a story about officers who will later become heroes, during their period and the protagonists rise from being nobody.

• Defeat deadly enemies to boost morale and awaken the power from within! Use unique strategies including battle styles based on the “five Phases”.
• Use the sword to inflict ruthless strikes that can change the tide of battle in an instant, and change the shift between offensive and defensive maneuvers. Overwhelm opponents with a flurry of force in a series of intense bloody battles whilst learning the precision and skill necessary to become a true master of the sword.
• Choose from a variety of weapons from glaives to dual-swords or wizardry spells the five phases which allow for attacks using elements such as flames and ice, upon reaching higher morale ranks you can gain the ability to utilize even more powerful spells.
• Call upon the power of divine beasts Zhuque and Baihu by making alliances with other warriors allowing you to perform feats of great power.

The best way to describe how Wo Long feels is if you combined the visuals and swordplay of the Dynasty Warriors and Nioh games with a pinch of Sekiro. What then happens is that you have a game that is quite difficult, but oh-so-rewarding when you conquer the seemingly impossible.

It’s a compelling telling of the story, backed up with one of the fastest and most entertaining takes on Soulslike combat that we’ve seen to date.
