These additions transform standard gameplay loops. Expedition teams explore the new regions to secure decorative items and exhibit upgrades. Two Point Studios detailed these mechanics in the official patch notes, highlighting constructible buildings like the Drum Circle and the Offering Statue.


Cultivating Loyalty Through Rituals and Devotion

The Temple acts as the central hub for the new Museum Cult mechanics. Museum managers utilize this structure to perform mystical Rituals that alter guest behavior.

Guests who interact with the Shrine transition into loyal followers. Loyal members provide the museum with further Devotion, increased Buzz, and greater monetary donations.

Staff members also interact with the new systems. Curators can train employees in the ways of the Museum Cult, securing reduced salary expectations in exchange for their newfound faith.

The Digiverse Rift update is available right now as a free download. SEGA released the patch on August 20, 2026, across Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2.
