Back in the day, you argued with friends on the couch about who had to use the cheap controller. Today, apparently, you need half a small town for that. But that is not what this is about right now. #1: Dark Souls 1: When Traps Try to Kill You and Save You

The first clip comes from Dark Souls 1. The player is in Sen’s Fortress, a place full of annoying traps on very narrow paths. In the clip, the player gets hit by one of the many traps and then even gets hit by a second one. After that, he falls down and lands on another trap. Because of that, he manages to save himself and get back on track. So the thing that was supposed to stop him actually saved his life, which is pretty ironic.

#2: PUBG: The New Digging Meta in Esports

Our second clip today comes from esports. More specifically, from a PUBG esports event. A new meta has apparently emerged there, and it is a very slow one. To avoid being spotted in the open field, the players grabbed pickaxes and slowly but surely dug their way toward the zone. Who could imagine anything more exciting than a hundred players swinging pickaxes at the same time?

#3: Sea of Thieves: Sinking a Ship with a Bomb Boat

The final clip today comes from Sea of Thieves. It is a game where you are a pirate and can fight against other players. Usually, you do that with the cannons on your ship, but in the clip we only see a rowboat packed full of explosive barrels. One of the two players rows it toward the other ship, and then there is a massive explosion that almost completely destroys the ship within seconds. Who needs cannons when you have bombs?
