Developer Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Games Studios are working together to bring the next Tomb Raider game.

Tomb Raider is a popular IP, one that gamers have loved for decades, and Crystal Dynamics is determined not to move away from what made the classic Tomb Raider titles so loved.

That likely means we will see Lara Croft doing what she does best: completing impossible puzzles, finding her way through challenging platforming levels and surviving against all odds.

It seems Amazon is also excited about the game, with Christoph Hartmann, the VP of Amazon Game Studios, saying they are “committed to bringing gamers the highest quality games.”

Tomb Raider is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, and there is no release date yet, with a reveal expected later this year.
