Crossovers are nothing new for fighting games but they still manage to get fans talking when two well-known series meet, especially when freebies are involved. Street Fighter 6 is teaming up with two beloved entries from the Mega Man universe in celebration for the launch of Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection this month.

 

Street Fighter 6 x Mega Man Collaboration Announced

Capcom has officially announced a collaboration between Street Fighter 6, Mega Man Star Force, and Mega Man Battle Network. The crossover arrives as part of the celebration for the upcoming launch of Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection which is set to release on March 27, 2026.

The collab offers several themed cosmetics and activities inside Street Fighter 6. Players can expect items inspired by both Star Force and Battle Network including character helmets and even Mr. Famous’s lab coat. The game’s Battle Hub will also receive a themed makeover, and a special Street Voter event.

The best part is that these items will be free. Anyone who logs into Street Fighter 6 starting March 17 can claim them.

   

Capcom has not shared a full list of all items included in the crossover just yet, and an official end date has also not been revealed. Since the event celebrates the launch of the Legacy Collection, it is possible it will wrap up around the time that game releases. Maybe. For now, players can simply jump in and grab the rewards once the event begins.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. So far it’s been a huge success both commercially and acclaim.
