PS Plus Game Catalog for December 2025 has its first confirmed title. Skate Story is joining the service on launch day, Dec 8th.

Devolver Digital’s Skate Story arrives in the PS Plus Game Catalog on release date, December 8th.

 

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Gets Skate Story on Day-One

Sony announced on the Playstation Blog that Skate Story, the upcoming game developed by Sam Eng and published by Devolver Digital, will be joining the Playstation Plus Game Catalog in December. But it’s not just any addition, it’s a day-one launch on the 8th.

These things rarely happen but it does, and when they do, it’s a good addition. Just this year, Extra and Premium members enjoyed the day-one launches of Blue Prince, Abiotic Factor, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and FBC: Firebreak.

Skate Story is the first confirmed title to enter the PS Plus Game Catalog in December. Upon launch it will also be available for PC via Steam, Playstation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. A demo is currently available to download on Steam.

   

Skate Story is a skateboarding adventure where you play as a glass-bodied demon in the Underworld. The Devil gives you a board and a deal: skate to the Moon, swallow it, and earn your freedom. You travel through the Emptylands and deeper layers of hell, learning tricks, mastering momentum, and using skating not just to move, but to fight demons, help strange characters, and push through a world built out of ash, concrete, and pain.

Gameplay mixes freeform street skating with exploration and progression. You’ll grind ledges, clear gaps, and complete skate trials across nine hellish zones, building skill over time with a growing list of tricks and gear upgrades. The vibe leans hard into style like dreamlike environments, ritual-feeling movement, and a hypnotic soundtrack by Blood Cultures. So basically, it’s as much an atmospheric journey as it is a skating game.
