Quidditch Champions Adds Magical Schools Hogwarts Legacy Misses

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is the new Quidditch sports game from Unbroken Studios and Warner Bros. Games. Featuring the popular sport from the Harry Potter books, the game is a competitive experience for all the family.

When the game releases, you’ll be able to play in Career Mode, Exhibition Matches, and against other players in online PvP. And yes, you can compete in the Quidditch World Cup, either in single-player or online co-op with three friends.

The recent Quidditch Champions trailer revealed the two magic schools joining the classes of Hogwarts in the Triwizard Tournament. The schools are Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang Institute, which will appear in the Harry Potter games for the first ever time. Beauxbatons Academy of Magic being from France and Durmstrang Institute from Scandinavia.

Of course, coming with the addition of the schools are two new stadiums. The Beauxbatons Academy of Magic stadium is a bright and colorful arena, whereas the Durmstrang Institute is a dark and icy stadium. It’s a chance for Harry Potter fans to see more of the wizarding world, something that was somewhat lacking in Hogwarts Legacy.

Quidditch Champions release date

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is releasing September 3 and will eventually launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. The best time to buy a game is often in its pre-order phase, before prices rise.
