MultiVersus Closed Alpha Underway; Here’s How to Join

Fighting Game MultiVersus features characters such as Shaggy, Arya Stark, Harley Quinn, Jake and Finn, and more.

Player First Games and WB Interactive Entertainment kick off the closed alpha of their much talked about fighting game, MultiVersus.

It started on May 19th, and runs until May 27th for those who received a referral link from friends who already have a Closed Alpha code, or by signing up for the Closed Alpha through the game’s website.

Players will be able to take part in 2 vs. 2 team-based cooperative mode, 1 vs. 1 matches, 4-player free-for-all, and The Lab practice mode.

The playable characters are:

• Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn (DC)
• Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo)
• Bugs Bunny and Tasmanian Devil a.k.a. Taz (Looney Tunes)
• Arya Stark (Game of Thrones)
• Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time)
• Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe)
• Tom & Jerry
• Reindog

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Arya Stark, Steven Universe, and Garnet are initially locked, and players will be able to unlock them through gameplay during the Closed Alpha.

How to Join the MultiVersus Closed Alpha

The MultiVersus Closed Alpha requires a referral link or code for those who wish to participate as the space is limited.

Here is how you can try getting in the alpha by signing up for it if you don’t have a friend who can give you a referral link.

How to Sign Up for the MultiVersus Closed Alpha

• Go to the game’s website and click on CLOSED ALPHA SIGN UP
• The website may ask you for your date of birth. Enter it when prompted.
• You will need a WB Games account to register. Create one if you don’t have it yet.
• A prompt about the Closed Alpha will pop out. Click ACCEPT AND CONTINUE to proceed.
• Should you become eligible for the Closed Alpha, the invite will be sent to your email.

Signing up does not guarantee you a slot in the closed alpha, though, but you can still try as there are still a few days left.
