Little Nightmares III is the new and third installment in the adventure horror platforming series from Bandai Namco. The series was developed up to the second chapter by the Tarsier Studio team, before the team was acquired by Embracer Group. With the IP remaining in the hands of Bandai Namco, it’s now entrusted to the team at Supermassive Games.
They’re bringing us their first project in the series, using materials and concepts left by the original team before the acquisition. Little Nightmares III: Demo Available Now
With now less than a month until the launch of Little Nightmares III, the Bandai Namco team has some awesome news. Finally announcing the availability of the Online Game Demo starting today. The Little Nightmares III Demo is therefore available from September 17, 2025, on PC and Consoles.
So, we’re getting an Online Playable Demo. Which some fans have already had the chance to try at live events like Gamescom 2025. The announcement was accompanied by a dedicated trailer, where we’ll guide Low and Alone in the chapter where we explore The Necropolis.
Little Nightmares III: What the Demo Offers Ahead of Launch
So we’ll have the chance to tackle exactly the chapter shown in past Gameplay Showcases for LN3. Guiding the protagonist duo to explore the seemingly abandoned city of Necropolis. Amidst various dangers, locations, and even encounters with the grotesque Monster Baby.
Offering a demo of about 30 minutes of gameplay. The team confirms we can try it both in online co-op with a friend, and alone with an AI companion. An important note, however, is that the Demo is a standalone experience that doesn’t start from the prologue. Therefore, it won’t be possible to import your save into the full game.
