Games Leaving Game Pass May 2024

Update May 14 – The second wave of games leaving Game Pass this month has also been announced together with the second wave of games entering the service. While we wait to welcome a good amount of titles joining GP, lets enjoy the ones making their exit while we can. It consists of 6 games which includes Railway Empire II.

Here is the list of confirmed games leaving Game Pass on May 31, 2024:

  • Chicory: A Colorful Tale
  • Farworld Pioneers
  • JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle
  • Pac-man Museum Plus
  • Little Witch in the Woods
  • Railway Empire II

Original Publication – The first wave of games leaving Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming have been revealed. The list currently has eight titles including big hits like Eiyuden: Chronicle Rising which is a prequel to the recently added day-one launch, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

Also notable game in the list is Just Cause 4 Reloaded which has been enjoyed by Game Pass subscribers for more than five years. If by any chance you weren’t able to check out this game during that, then this is your time. But, you will have to alot a big chunk of your time as it takes about 60 hours to complete.

Here is the list of confirmed games leaving Game Pass on May 15, 2024:

  • Eastern Exorcist
  • Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising
  • Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2
  • Ghostlore
  • Just Cause 4
  • Norco
  • SD Gundam Battle Alliance
  • Supraland: Six Inches Under

If you want to pile some achievements from these games before they leave, the quickest one will be Norco which has an estimated eight hours to complete. The rest, apart from Eiyuden and Ghostlore which are both about 60 hours each, will take roughly 22 hours.

So yes, if you haven’t played any of the games, it will be tough doing all. If you’re up for a challenge though, better start now and file those absences at work! Note though that these games are 20% off before they leave the service.

While it is always sad to see games we can play for free, no longer be free, at least the new titles entering the service this month have also been announced. And the best part, the first one is getting added tomorrow!
