Fields of Mistria Roadmap 2025/2026 – All Upcoming Features & Update Preview
In August 2024, the Stardew Valley-like farming game Fields of Mistria entered Early Access on Steam. Since then, there have already been three major updates, and now a roadmap for the next big update and version 1.0 has been released.
Today we’ll talk about what’s coming in future updates and when to expect them. The previous Fields of Mistria updates have always been major and brought tons of new content — and that’s not going to change anytime soon.
Roadmap Overview & Schedule
On October 8, the developers released the official roadmap for the next two Fields of Mistria updates. The next one is called the Mines Update and is set to launch early in 2026. This update will complete the Mines storyline and bring many more features. All details can be found below. The team also revealed plans for the 1.0 Update, expected to arrive sometime in 2026, which will include new quests, a higher renown level cap, weddings, children, and much more.

The Fields of Mistria Mines Update
Let’s start with the Mines Update for Fields of Mistria, which is planned for early 2026. As the name suggests, this update will mainly focus on the Mines, but will also include several improvements and new features:
Mines & Dungeon
- “Ruins Seal” quest becomes unlockable
- Final Mines biome becomes accessible
- New spell unlockable
- New monsters added to the Mines
- Mines storyline completable!
Villagers & Romance
- Secret Bachelorette becomes unlockable
- Secret Bachelorette 8-heart event & dates
- Additional NPC dialogue & daily schedules
Town & Renown
- “Lost & Found” – town repair quest
- Additional requests on the town board
- New museum sets and rewards

Fields of Mistria 1.0 Update
In addition to the Mines Update, the roadmap also revealed what will be included in the game’s full release. Version 1.0 is expected to launch sometime in 2026 — no specific date yet, but it’s likely to drop around Q3–Q4 2026. Here’s what we can expect from Update 1.0:

- NPC heart cap raised to 10
- 10-heart & wedding events for romanceable NPCs
- Marriage & children
- More vendors at the Saturday market

- Additional dungeon quests

Looking Ahead
Even after the full release, Fields of Mistria won’t be done. The developers at NPC Studio have confirmed plans to continue updating the game with new content and improvements. While there are no details yet, they’ve made it clear that they intend to support and expand the game for a long time.
