Just a little over a week after the official launch of Dying Light: The Beast, some interesting news has dropped about the series’ return. Techland’s new zombie and action parkour adventure has received strong positive feedback since its launch.
The team is celebrating the praise from video game critics. They’ve released a short montage trailer dedicated to The Beast. It showcases all the scores and praise received by Kyle Crane’s new adventure, from both the press and players. As a reminder, the title was released on 18 September 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

This is fantastic news for a chapter that has certainly thrilled the big fans of the series. They were particularly impressed by the even freer and more creative gameplay. So much so that, although the Techland team has not yet officially announced it, it seems that The Beast has already sold over 1.5 million copies. This data comes from Alinea Analytics, confirming about 1 million copies on Steam alone.
This success is also thanks to a solid port and performance on PC and Consoles. Although there are a few minor issues, some early fixes have already been rolled out with version 1.2.3. These are important fixes, as the Techland team promises the arrival of the PS4 and Xbox One versions by the end of 2025.
