Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (DS2) is the much-anticipated sequel to the beloved Death Stranding, Kojima Production’s debut title. A development studio led by the visionary Hideo Kojima, founded in 2015 after his decision to leave Konami.
With a very bizarre game, it still captivated many with its intriguing world of a USA devastated by a mysterious cataclysm. The sequel will arrive in 2025, exclusively on PS5.

Despite the official confirmation of the February 2025 State of Play, Kojima’s team announced new news. Specifically, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will have a special panel in collaboration with Playstation at South by Southwest (SXSW).
The annual event for cinema, music, and culture, will see the team participate in the 9-day event in March in Austin, Texas. Certainly a big dream for Kojima, who has always been interested in cinema and is a huge Hollywood fan.

As confirmed on the official Kojima Productions website, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will have its own panel at SXSW. Held on March 9, 2025, at 4:00 PM CDT / 2:00 PM PST / 11:00 PM CET, with more news to follow.
