Dead by Daylight: Silent Hill x Castlevania 2v8 Game Mode Now Live for Limited Time
The Entity has summoned two iconic killers, Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head and Castlevania’s Dracula, for an all-new Dead by Daylight (DbD) 2v8 time-limited game mode. This event is live now across all platforms and ends on November 20.
This returning game mode dramatically changes the Dead by Daylight formula, increasing the tense, high-risk gameplay as two killers go against eight survivors in a desperate new hunt in The Fog.
However, players who want to try this epic “Konami Takeover” must act quickly as the game mode is only available for a limited time, ending on November 20.
Behaviour Interactive’s 2v8 Game Mode Explained
Dead by Daylight has featured the 2v8 game mode before, as Behaviour Interactive shakes up the core gameplay, doubling the number of killers and survivors.
This new dynamic of having two killers increases the pressure on survivors, who get additional support to repair generators, as trials become a fast-paced, frantic, and tense battle of speed as killers attempt to hook survivors before they complete their tasks and escape.
Silent Hill and Castlevania Collide
The Silent Hill x Castlevania crossover is being dubbed the “Konami Takover,” with two of its most recognizable and iconic IPs colliding with the oppressive atmosphere of Silent Hill and the gothic horror of Castlevania.
To celebrate the time-limited mode, Behaviour Interactive has announced all-new outfits for Cheryl Mason, The Executioner (Pyramid Head), Trevor Belmont, and The Dark Lord (Dracula), along with game mode-specific quests and rewards, including badges, charms, and banners.
