Survive on Raft or just know as ‘Raft’ is a survival game that was a success on PC and will soon be on the XBOX. The main feature is that you are stranded on a set of islands in the middle of the ocean and your base is a raft, at start, because later it can become really big. Then you travel from island to island gathering materials to survive and build a better raft (not sure if it can be called raft when it looks like boat) . Basically a different take in a crowded genre.
It is clear that this game tries to copy the highly-acclaimed cooperative game Raft, and does it not in the best way. Not only it wears a similar title, Survive on Raft, but it also looks like a downgrade in terms of graphics. I don’t want to attack the developer, as the game has a quite appealing interface and other changes from Raft. But it still feels to me like a copy.
Survive on Raft, not to be mistaken with Raft, both have similar names and very similar concepts, is a sandbox survival where you build your base on an expanding raft and get to explore the seas and some islands. Originally, it was made for mobile, later ported to PC and now close to arriving on Xbox consoles. Gather some friends, create and build your raft, fight sharks, trade with NPCs and stock up on weapons and food to explore dangerous island with secrets and treasures.
