Sinking Island is a third-person adventure game developed by Microids and White Birds Productions and published by Gravity Europe SAS. The game uses a point-and-click game system.
Players take on the role of Jack Norm, a federal agent who turned into a private detective (and is currently taking a break somewhere along the atolls of the Indian Ocean), and is the one who takes the case of solving the mysterious death of an 82-year old billionaire named Walter Jones. Mr. Jones died without realizing his dream of building a massive Art Deco tower for international jet-setters.
He was found dead at the base of a cliff on Sagorah Island, full of scratches on his face, one of which appears to have been made by a woman. In the island with him were 10 other people, and among those are the heirs to his fortune and legacy. It is now up to Jack to solve the mystery and find whether his death is an accident, or a murder.
As Jack, you are only given 3 days to complete 10 missions. You have to collect valuable clues and store evidence on your PDA. Among your tasks is interrogating each one of the 10 suspects. Use your skills as a detective to find out who among them has the most gain from Mr. Jones’s death.
Sinking Island is definitely an engaging and innovative game. Take the challenge and choose from two gameplay modes: Time Mode and Adventure Mode.
