Papas Quiz is a Party/trivia game developed by old apes’ studios in papas quiz, you can invite up to 8 friends to play with you, to play the game they just need a phone or a computer that can connect to the internet so they can use it as a controller. The game is split up into rounds each round the players choose a category play. The faster the players answer the more points he is rewarded, the player who can amass the most points after the last round wins.

• Before starting each game, players can create their own avatar dress it up in colorful and wacky clothes.
• You don’t vote for categories in Papas Quiz, you fight for it tap in the direction of the category you want, and force the cursor to move in that direction.
• 5 question Types: Thrilling trivia – multiple-choice question, Random reveal – a picture is slowly pieced together the first one to guess it wins, Patient Pictures – the answer to the question is in a slideshow of pictures the first person to tap the right picture wins, and Final Fight – secret reserved for the final round.
• The player who wins each round has a chance to dance to celebrate his victory over the competition.

Papa’s Quiz is a decent party game that does stand out for me as a good alternative to the Jackbox games. Granted it is just a quiz and there are no other game modes, but I feel that helps make it stand out as it has that singular focus. The dance boasting isn’t for everyone and the automated voices do get a bit tedious after a while, but as a party game that you play in bursts, I think this is pretty fun.

There is plenty of variety in both questions and categories and, for the price, you can certainly do worse. While I still think Jackbox is the better game and capable of providing the best value, Papa’s Quiz is not a bad title to add to the rotation of socially distanced game nights.
